We have finished testing of isolated bridge converter with output power 500 W and unique transformer configuration.
Through the careful electromagnetic and thermal processes preliminary modeling we have achieved perfect power results at full operating temperature range (–60...+125).
This solution makes it possible to increase the power density significantly and to reach up 96% (and more) efficiency for 'difficult' outputs from 2,5–12,5 VDC range. Furthermore, microcontroller application for digital design of GaN transistors control signals inside of bridge converter as well as synchronous rectifier application makes the converter operation mode adjustment more flexible and efficient amid input voltage and output current variations.
Our engineers will use these tests results for the next generation of DC-DC modules development.
